February's Book is The Essex Serpent by Sarah Perry. In this book Cora Seaborne moves between Essex and London, myth, and modernity on a spirited search for the Essex Serpent, which encourages those around her to test their allegiance to faith or reason in an age of rapid scientific advancement.
