Morning Yoga for Every Body with Diane Brooks (Virtual)

Join local yoga instructor Diane Brooks for a series of five classes exploring different yoga styles. All classes are suitable for all levels of experience and fitness. Try out hatha yoga for a moderate workout, with yoga postures in seated, reclined and standing positions, including balance postures. Experience yin yoga, practicing present-moment mindfulness while holding gentle stretches on the mat, opening the connective tissues to increase flexibility. Both styles will include demonstrations of chair yoga options.
Diane is a 20-year yoga practitioner, certified as a hatha yoga instructor by the American Yoga School and as a Karuna hatha teacher by the late Paul MacNaughton. She also completed a 50-hour yin yoga teacher training with internationally-known yin expert and author Bernie Clark. She taught yoga for four years at Everett Community College and now teaches at various community locations.
