2. Tear Down Package Agreement

   This document provides detailed guidelines for a customer who purchases a tear down package with the City of Everett Parks and Facilities Dept. By signing this document, you agree to the tear down package requirements. Failure to comply may result in the loss of security deposit.

   Only available if rental is more than two weeks away.

4. It will be the responsibility of the renter to:*

   1. Wipe down tables and chairs. Staff will return tables and chairs to the storage area.
   2. Remove all personal belongings, items brought in by outside vendors, decorations and leftover food; no next day pickup is allowed.
   3. Sweep and mop the floor, stage, kitchen and other areas. Remove any debris, tape, spills and food.
   4. Leave restrooms in good order. Restrooms will be cleaned by staff after your event.
   5. Extinguish fire in fireplace (Floral and Legion Halls only). Spread dying embers; please do not use water.
   6. Wipe down counters, stove, sink, appliances, microwave and refrigerator including all spills, crumbs and food. Rinse out coffee makers; wash stems and baskets.
   7. Drain liquid beverages and ice in the sink, not outside or in the outside drains.
   8. Bag all garbage and place in garbage receptacles or dumpster in park. If it is full, do not leave bags next to dumpster. Place excess garbage in kitchen cans (bagged and not overflowing or leaking).
   9. Clean debris such as cigarette butts from paved areas at all hall entrances. Glitter, confetti, rice, and birdseed are not allowed.
   10. Turn heat down or off according to signage in each facility.
   11. Turn off lights and shut and lock windows and doors. (Use allen wrench to lock doors)
   12. Return access card/key to the Recreation Office after your event or the next business day. (Drop box outside office door)
6. Tear Down Package

   After renter has cleaned and removed all items brought to the facility, staff will:
   - Return tables and chairs to storage area
   - Clean remainder of floor previously under tables and chairs

   Staff time for tear down is covered up to three (3) hours; any cleaning needed after that three hours will be deducted from the deposit.

14. Helium balloons and candles are not allowed inside Floral or Legion Halls. Thank you for your cooperation.
