Betty White

On December 31, 2021 we lost a true friend of animals, Betty White, just before her 100th birthday on 1/17/2022. The #BettyWhiteChallenge exploded and millions of dollars were raised to support animals in need in honor of her lifelong commitment to helping animals!

Hundreds of generous animal lovers donated $14,000 to EAS in honor of Betty and those funds have helped so many pets.

Pets like Trista who was found abandoned in a shopping cart in January of 2022 with injuries that required a leg amputation. Trista received the surgery she needed and spent many months in our care regaining her health and strength. She is now healed and in her forever home, thanks to those that gave in honor of Betty.

If you'd like to continue to celebrate Betty's life, legacy and lifelong commitment to animal welfare on what would have been her 101st birthday today, January 17th, you can do so by making a donation to support homeless animals in need, a cause for which she was so passionate.
