July Cat Adoption Event

Thinking about adopting a feline friend?

Come on down to our July Cat Adoption Event and meet our available cats and kittens!

On Saturday, July 23rd from 11am - 3pm we
encourage you to come meet and interact with our cats and if there is a good match, we can process your adoption same day.

Tuxedos, Torties and Tabbies…we have them all! We currently have more than 30 cats and kittens ready for new homes and more arrive every day. The shelter can be a stressful environment for many cats and our goal is to get them into new homes as quickly as we can.

We can’t wait to see you!

Kitten Shower

Join our online Kitten Shower!

It's kitten season, that time of year where shelters and rescues see a large increase in stray and unwanted kittens. While kittens are cute, they are costly to care for and often require special food, formula and bottle feeding and all need vaccines and spay/neuter surgeries before they are ready for new homes.

We estimate this year we'll care for more than 900 tiny kittens with an estimated cost of almost $300 per kitten.

You can help! We invite you to participate in our Online Kitten Shower. Make a donation to our Kitten Shower and we'll send you a photo of one of our snuggliest and most adorable kittens as a thank you!

Lenny

Featured Pet: Lenny

Sweet Lenny may look a little rough around the edges, but it's just a facade. This big guy is as friendly as they come and doesn't know he looks any different.

Lenny arrived as a stray with horribly infected ears that had clearly been left untreated for a long time. This has caused them to become permanently crinkled and he will need regular ear cleanings and monitoring to prevent new infections.

Despite his tough exterior, Lenny wants nothing more than a loving home and deserves to be spoiled for the rest of his days.

If you'd like to learn more about Lenny, visit our website and send in an application today.

While we're not currently open for general animal viewing, we are accepting applications for adoption appointments and our staff will follow up with next steps.

Sandwich's happy tail

Cassandra's happy tail

When Cassandra arrived as a stray in January she was thin, dehydrated and her fur was severely matted. She had a mass above her eye that needed to be removed and bloodwork determined that Cassandra had hyperthyroidism which would need to be managed by medicine for the rest of her life.

Cassandra spent 3 months at the shelter and in a foster home and was finally ready for adoption. Now, her fur is long and silky, she's put on weight and she's spoiled and happy!

Her family says, "We are so happy to have Cassandra (now Sandwich…and sometimes Cheese) in our family! She settled in immediately as ruler of the house, and loves snuggles, treats, and playtime. We continue to work with our vet to fine tune her hyperthyroidism medication, but she seems to be feeling better and better each day! Thank you for bringing her into our lives! We adore her!"
