What is the Loyal Litter? The Loyal Litter is made up of Everett Animal Shelter's most dedicated supporters. Loyal Litter members give monthly to ensure EAS can continue to care for pets in need that have nowhere else to turn. This reliable stream of revenue also helps us plan ahead!

Join our Online Kitten Shower!

It's kitten season, that time of year where shelters and rescues see a large increase in stray and unwanted kittens. While kittens are cute, they are costly to care for and often require special food, formula and bottle feeding and all need vaccines and spay/neuter surgeries before they are ready for new homes.

You can help! We invite you to participate in our Online Kitten Shower! We estimate this spring and summer we'll care for more than 900 tiny kittens with an estimated cost of almost $300 per kitten.

Echo's Happy Tail

At just 3 months old, Echo arrived at our shelter completely blind and suffering in pain from advanced glaucoma. Donations to our Fund for the Animals made it possible for Echo to receive surgery and he is now living pain-free in a loving home!

Echo and his littermates were the result of an unplanned, unwanted litter and were discarded at the shelter when they became too much to handle. His glaucoma was not reversible and his eyes were painful and needed to be removed to give him a chance at a pain-free life. Thanks to our donors, he was able to receive surgery and spend time recovering in a caring foster home. Echo has since been adopted and doesn't know he's any different!

Echo's family says: "Echo has adjusted to his furever family perfectly. He loves nothing more than to take up too much room in the bed, lay next to his brother, help his mom with work, chew and shred squeaky toys, play outside and sleep...anywhere! He is an amazing boy with so much confidence and is loved by all!"

Featured Pet: Trista

Trista is currently our longest resident, and is patiently waiting for her family to come along. Trista has had a rough few months after being left in a shopping cart outside a local veterinary clinic with a broken leg and very underweight. Trista needed to have her leg amputated to give her the best chance at a normal life and after a few months of rest and recovery in a loving foster home, she has healed and gained weight!

Despite her missing leg, Trista is active and playful. She also loves a soft couch and a good cuddle. She's a perfect house dog and as much as we love her, it's time for her to move on!
