Give Love, GiveBIG

GiveBIG is a special two-day event where we hope to raise vital funds to ensure the safety of our community's homeless pets.

We have set a goal to raise $15,000 and we’re asking for your help! This year you can create your own Fundraising page to share with your friends and family. You can set your own goal and every dollar your earn goes straight to the animals at EAS.
Creating your own page is a simple way to help EAS expand our fundraising efforts. Do you have a birthday or milestone to celebrate in April or May? Consider creating a page to collect donations in honor of that celebration! Similar to Facebook fundraisers, GiveBIG Fundraising pages are shareable and allow you set a goal and track your progress.

Setting up your own Fundraising page is simple:

  • Visit the EAS GiveBIG page and click FUNDRAISE

  • Set up an account with WAGIVES by entering your email and creating a password

  • Follow the prompts to set up and customize your page - be sure to enter a title, set a goal, add a photo and a description – this should be personal and explain to your friends and family why you care about supporting the animals at EAS
  • For extra help, visit the Tools for Fundraiser's page for helpful resources.
  • Publish and share!

And because we all love a little competition: the supporter whose page raises the most will win the chance to name a litter of puppies or kittens! Visit our page and click FUNDRAISE to get started today.

Your GiveBIG support will provide comfort and life-saving medical care and together we can create a safer and more welcoming community for animals.

Bo

Bo's Happy Tail

You may remember Bo from his adorable window-washing video that went viral in early 2020. Bo made many news headlines and quickly became a fan favorite!

We recently received an update from his family that we are so happy to share:

"Update 2022! Bo is healthy, goofy, and kind, and enjoying life with his best friend and brother, Valentine. He goes on many adventures and is still a charmer. He can be a 'Bo' in a China cabinet, he's hilarious and I love this guy."

Being a large (150+ pounds!) dog and a breed that can typically require extra management, we weren't sure how long Bo would be with us. But because of our community's support, there are no time limits on our animals, and Bo is just one of many who finally found his permanent gig.

You can view Bo's window-washing talents

Rosey

A Rosey Outlook

Rosey is a very special kitty. She was brought to us when her owners could no longer keep her. While her family thought they were caring for Rosey properly, her diet of milk, yogurt and raw meat has stunted her growth and caused a long list of health issues for this tiny three-year-old cat.

Rosey is partially, if not mostly blind, may be partially deaf, her bones are weak and at risk of fracturing, her back legs are wobbly and unstable, and her skin is dry and flaky. In addition to her physical issues her mental capacity is also developmentally delayed.

Rosey needs to undergo lots of blood work, supplements and tests to determine the best course of action for all her ailments. Her stay will be long and costly.

Despite her struggles, Rosey is sweet, loving and offers loud purrs to all who pass her kennel and has quickly become a staff and volunteer favorite.

You can make a donation to Rosey’s care to ensure she receives the care she deserves to thrive. We are maintaining a rosy outlook on this sweet cat's future and can't wait to update on her progress soon!

Ryatt

Featured Pet: Ryatt

Handsome Ryatt came to us as a stray, so we don't know much about his past. He is very happy and quickly gets attached to the people he loves. Ryatt has a lot of energy and is looking for a home that can help him stay active and work on his socialization and manners. Because he's eager to please and loves people, he enjoys learning new things and picks up on new commands quickly. Ryatt will benefit from a solid training plan and lots of exercise.

If you're looking for a new best friend and hiking buddy, Ryatt may be your guy!
