It’s the season of gratitude and there is so much that I’m thankful for.
Starting with this beautiful city and our amazing Everett community; I am grateful for the kindness, resilience and spirit of togetherness that I see in our community every day. We’ve been thoroughly tested these past few years and I believe we’re stronger than ever.
I remain tremendously grateful for our healthcare workers and first responders who continue to serve on the front-lines of this pandemic and are working tirelessly to keep us healthy and safe, and care for us in our time of need.
I’m also grateful for our teachers and school staff who are doing an amazing job adjusting to teaching in the time of COVID-19 and ensuring our kids have supportive and safe learning environments.
I’m grateful for our City teams and volunteers, who continue working so diligently to serve our community.
And I'm grateful for the amazing local businesses, retailers and restaurants we have here in Everett who are the backbone of our community. Let’s show our gratitude to them by shopping and dining local, especially during this holiday season.
As we all gather with our loved ones this season and share our gratitude, please take care to stay safe and stay healthy.
