Thanks for giving BIG!

Last week, we asked you to help us raise $10,000 and you came through, raising over $14,000 for the homeless pets in our care! These critical funds will go directly to the animals, providing medical care, vaccines, special diet food and so much more.

Young Potter who was found as a stray, unable to stand or support this weight, is now recovering because of you. DJ, who arrived with a broken leg, will be able to see an orthopedic specialist to help him walk pain-free. And Marshall, who was abandoned on our doorstep with a fractured leg, has received the surgery he needed to fix his bones and is healing, all thanks to you!

Now, because of you, these once broken and homeless pets have a second chance and will go on to find their loving forever homes!

Your support makes these happy endings possible!

Petco Grant Award

EAS receives $30,000 grant from Petco Love!

We are honored to announce that we've been awarded a $30,000 grant investment from the newly named, Petco Love, to support our lifesaving work for animals in Everett and surrounding communities.

Petco Love is a nonprofit leading change for pets nationally by harnessing the power of love to make communities and pet families closer, stronger, and healthier. Since their founding in 1999 as the Petco Foundation, they’ve empowered organizations with nearly $300 million invested to date in adoption and other lifesaving efforts. And, they’ve helped find loving homes for more than 6.5 million pets in partnership with Petco and more than 4,000 organizations, like ours, nationwide.

“Today Petco Love announces an investment in the Everett Animal Shelter and hundreds of other organizations as part of our commitment to create a future in which no pet is unnecessary euthanized,” said Susanne Kogut, President of Petco Love. “Our local investments are only one component. This month, we will also launch the first of our national tools to empower all animal lovers to drive lifesaving change right alongside us.”

“The staff and volunteers at the Everett Animal Shelter are thrilled to have the support of Petco Love. We feel very grateful and honored to have been selected to receive this generous grant. Together we will make a difference in the lives of many homeless pets that have nowhere else to turn,” said Glynis Frederiksen, Everett Animal Shelter manager.
