This week we've told you stories of helpless animals whose lives were saved with the help of an x-ray machine. Without these images, their fate may have been unknown.

Lentil was just a tiny kitten at 4 months old when he was picked up as a stray. He was cold, hungry, flea and mite infested and suffering in pain. An x-ray showed us that his pelvis and both his hips were broken, most likely the result of being hit by a car. It was a miracle he survived.
