Dear Animal Lover,

We have an emergency situation and are requesting help.

Darcy was found today in the middle of I-5 - hurt, terrified and unable to walk on her own. A good Samaritan pulled over and was able to safely get her off the busy freeway, saving her from getting further injured.

Darcy has multiple wounds and bruises and is in shock. She was rushed to our emergency vet partner and is receiving immediate care including oxygen and fluids to stabilize her and x-rays to determine the extent of her injuries.

Although our partner vet clinic offers our shelter a generous discount, Darcy's bill will continue to climb. She is not out of the woods yet and we are not sure what her future holds, but we are fighting for her life.

Darcy's medical expenses will be paid for by our Fund for the Animals, which is only made possible by generous community support. Your donation today can help Darcy and other homeless pets who are fighting for their lives.
