This update was brought to you by Stanley, pictured above. Stanley found himself at the shelter when his owner could not provide the medical care he needed. In rough shape, Stanley will spend many months in our care and we look forward to sharing his transformation!

Houdini & Mac

Because of your support, two cats with painful urinary conditions are now healthy and happy.

Houdini (left) and Mac (right)
came to us suffering from urinary blockage, which is painful and life-threatening if not treated quickly. Your donations allowed both cats to begin immediate treatment, heal and find their new families.

Both cats need to remain on special diets for the rest of their lives and pets with special needs tend to stay in the shelter longer. Thanks to you, we were able to give them all the time they needed until their new families found them.

Give Love, GiveBIG on May 6

GiveBIG is a special 24-hour day of giving where you can join other animal lovers and make a meaningful difference in the lives of the homeless pets at Everett Animal Shelter. Here's how you can participate:

  • Make a donation of any size to help us reach our goal of $5,000. Early giving begins on April 22nd. Visit Everett Animal Shelter's GiveBIG page.
  • Create your own FUNdraising page to share with your friends and family. You can set your own goal and every dollar you raise goes straight to the animals at EAS. We're even offering a Kitten Party to the supporter that raises the most! Visit our page and click FUNDRAISE to get started today.

Your support will provide comfort and life-saving medical care and together we can create a safer and more welcoming community for animals.

The Kittens are Coming

Each year the shelter cares for more than 800 kittens, most arriving in the spring and summer and some coming to us as young as one-day old. While cute, kittens require lots of care and resources until they are big and healthy enough for adoption. We rely on community support to help start our kittens off on the right paw! If you'd like to send a gift to our kittens we've made it easy with our Amazon Wish List.

Photo of Copper

Copper's Made of Gold

Copper found himself at the shelter after having been bounced around a bit. At almost 3 years old, he's full of energy, loves to play and is looking for a home that can keep him active and provide structure. Copper has a mischievous side and will need a fenced yard but loves going for car rides and adventures. If you think Copper could be the missing element in your life, read more about him on our website and email a completed application to [email protected]

While we're not currently open for animal viewing, we are accepting applications by email and our staff will follow up with next steps.
