Millie the bulldog
We need your help! Your gift today will help Millie and her puppies - and so many other deserving animals - receive the special care they need.

Yesterday Millie the bulldog was rushed to our clinic while in labor. It was clear Millie was in distress and her life, as well as the lives of her puppies, was at risk.

We suspect this was not Millie’s first litter and that she had been bred to a much larger breed of dog, causing many complications with her pregnancy and delivery. Millie’s compact body was not capable of safely delivering this many puppies of this size.

Our Veterinarian performed an emergency c-section and staff were able to save Millie’s life along with five of her precious puppies.

They are not out of the woods yet and have a long road to recovery. Your support can ensure Millie and her puppies will receive the care they need during this crucial time.

Millie and her babies will stay with EAS until they are weened and will then be transferred to a specialized breed rescue, ensuring they will be placed with the most capable and loving, new families. Millie has been spayed, ensuring she’ll never have to risk her life during a dangerous delivery again, and all her puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption.

Your gift today will help cover the cost of Millie’s emergency surgery, support the care of her and her puppies over the next few months, including spay and neuter surgeries, as well as help so many other homeless animals that need your help.
