EVERETT, WA – Major Crimes detectives are investigating an apparent domestic incident that resulted in a murder-suicide leaving the believed suspect and one other person deceased.

This morning, just before 4:30 a.m., dispatch received a 911 call from 607 Riverside Drive in which the caller stated there was an unresponsive male with blood on his head inside of a vehicle.

When officers arrived at the location, they discovered a deceased male with apparent gunshot wounds inside of a vehicle.

Through investigation, officers identified a suspect and suspect vehicle which matched the descriptions given for a suicidal subject that was called in to 911 prior to this incident.  The vehicle was soon found unoccupied in the 500 block of West Marine View Drive.  A search for the suspect was conducted using a K-9 and a drone.  A call later came into 911 of a body in the water in the 1700 block of West Marine View Drive.  The body was found to be that of an adult male with an apparent gunshot wound.   He is believed to be the suicidal male as well as the  suspect in the earlier homicide.

Major Crimes detectives are still investigating the incident, but the suspect is believed to be one of the deceased.
