Since June 23rd, detectives have investigated the death of 46 year-old Shannon Yeager in the 2900 block of Terminal Ave, along the Pigeon Creek public access trail, after BNSF Railroad called 911 to report a body near the tracks. Shannon sustained inflicted injuries that led to her death but the specifics are being held for investigative reasons.
During the course of the investigation, detectives contacted several people with information about the victim and spoke with a male Shannon was dating. The male, a 62 year-old from Everett, was interviewed by detectives and confessed to killing Shannon. He has been booked into the Snohomish County Jail on murder charges.
Detectives continue investigating.

Everett detectives investigate homicide

EVERETT – Major Crimes detectives are investigating the death of a female near Pigeon Creak.
At about 9:30 a.m. on Friday, June 23rd, patrol units responded to the 2900 block of Terminal Ave on the report of a body along the Pigeon Creek public access trail. Arriving units found a body and requested Major Crimes detectives investigate the scene. The scene was processed and the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office took custody of the body.
At this time, the Medical Examiner’s Office has provided the identity as 46 year-old Shannon Yeager of Everett who was the victim of a homicide.
