EVERETT – Detectives with the Major Crimes Unit arrested the male believed to be responsible for a recent drive-by shooting.
Just after 7 p.m. on March 15th, a victim called 911 to report a black Maxima followed him for some distance before the occupants fired multiple shots at his vehicle near the intersection of Olympic Dr. and Madison St. in Everett. The victim then followed the Maxima and reported to 911 that three occupants got out before the vehicle stopped in the 6500 block of Evergreen Way where the driver was confronted. The driver, a 22 year-old Everett man, was arrested and booked on probable cause for drive by shooting (RCW 9A.36.045).
Detectives continued investigating and identified the man, an 18 year-old from Everett, believed to be the one who fired at the victim and later ran from the car. He was arrested today, without incident, and booked into the Snohomish County Jail on probable cause for three counts of assault (RCW 9A.36.011)
On April 7th, another passenger from the black Maxima, a 23 year-old Lynnwood man, was also identified, arrested and booked into the Snohomish County Jail on probable cause for drive by shooting (RCW 9A.36.045).
