EVERETT – Major Crimes detectives are investigating a shooting that killed one male in Everett.

At about 5:15 p.m. this evening, officers were dispatched to Shilo Village “H” building (1926 W Casino Rd) when multiple residents reported hearing gunshots. Arriving officers found a male who had been shot and immediately contained the area. Everett Fire was called but the male was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives with the Major Crimes Unit are investigating the crime to gather evidence and information about possible suspects.

The male victim is believed to be in his 20’s. The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office will take custody of the deceased to determine identity as well as cause and manner of death.

There is no additional information about this incident at this time. Detectives will continue working the case.
