EPD Patch

EVERETT – Two have been arrested after detectives investigated a weekend robbery.

Since Saturday, detectives have worked with a 33 year-old man, who was left on the side of Hwy-526 after a robbery, to identify the suspects involved. As of this evening, probable cause was developed and two suspects were arrested in Spokane, WA.

At about 8:00 pm on Saturday, officers responded to the 700 block of SE Hwy-526 on the report of an injured man on the side of the highway. Arriving officers found a victim with injuries to his neck and head. The victim told officers he had been at the Quil Ceda Creek Casino in Marysville, WA where he met up with a male, the males’ girlfriend and another female he befriended the day before. The male and his girlfriend agreed to give the victim a ride home and they drove him into Everett. The victim said that after making a stop, the male sat behind him and started to assault him as they drove. The victim blacked out and woke up on the side of the highway with his wallet and $2,400 cash missing.

Everett Fire responded, provided medical treatment and recommended the victim go to the hospital, but he declined. An officer drove him home to Lake Stevens, WA where his girlfriend took him to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett - Colby Campus. He was admitted to the ICU for a period of time.

During their robbery investigation, detectives worked with the victim to develop suspect identification and establish probable cause. With the assistance of the Spokane Police Department, two suspects were arrested this evening in Spokane, WA. Everett detectives will take custody of the two and return them to Everett where they will be booked into the Snohomish County Jail on probable cause charges for robbery (RCW 9A.56.200). The case remains under investigation.

The vehicle used in the incident was a black Range Rover.
