The victim in this case, a 32 year-old Everett man, passed away on October 28th as a result of his injuries. The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Officer will determine cause and manner of death as well as identity.
Detectives with the Major Crimes Unit continue to investigate the incident.

EVERETT – Major Crimes detectives are investigating an assault that seriously injured an Everett man last night.
Just before 4:00 p.m. yesterday, officers responded to the report of an assault outside a business in the 2700 block of Colby Ave. Arriving officers found two injured males who had been fighting.
Detectives with the Major Crimes Unit responded to the scene. Based on their investigation and witness accounts, it appears a 32 year-old Everett man was arguing with a female when another male intervened. A verbal altercation between the two men quickly turned physical where both were injured and taken to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett.
The 32 year-old man sustained significant injuries and he remains in the Intensive Care Unit. The second male, a 35 year-old from Everett, was seen and released.
The case is currently under investigation by detectives and no arrests have been made.
