This week Public Utility District No. 1 of Snohomish County (PUD) is performing extensive vegetation removal and maintenance on PUD property along the sides of the Interurban Trail between the Beverly Park and Pinehurst substations (approximately between the trail aligned with 58th to 75th Streets) in Everett. The Interurban Trail is itself PUD property, for which an easement was provided to the City through a 1994 agreement for recreational use.
The maintenance work is expected to be completed by Friday evening, July 15. Trail users are requested to find alternate routes, as this section will be closed to the public for walking and bicycling during maintenance.
