[ARCHIVED] Community Discussion on Bruskrud Road Park Parcel

Welcome to a pocket of forested wilderness in urban southeast Everett. When complete this 3.5 acre natural park will offer the neighborhood a place to enjoy walking through shady trees and observing nature.

The initial design concept for the Bruskrud Road Park Parcel includes trails and picnic tables. With primary pedestrian access at 109th Street SE, the park will be ideal for walkers and passive recreation uses. The property is part of a larger, 15-acre section of forested parkland northwest of Interstate 5.

The Bruskrud Road Park Parcel is required by the National Park Service and the Washington Recreation and Conservation Office as mitigation for open space lost during the 1996 construction of Everett’s Fire Station #7 located at Thornton A. Sullivan Park.
