[ARCHIVED] Man shot in Everett

At about 10:45 p.m. on March 16, 2015, officers responded to reports of shots fired and an injured man in the 500 block of W. Casino Road. Arriving officers found a 22 year-old Everett man with gunshot wounds and secured the area so Everett Fire could transport him to Everett Providence Regional Medical Center.

Major Crimes detectives responded to the scene and worked through the night to interview witnesses and collect evidence. A nearby business was damaged by the shots and it was believed the suspect(s) left the area in a silver vehicle.

As of this morning, detectives confirm numerous shots were fired during the incident and are working to identify the suspect.

There is no medical update for the victim, but his injuries should be non-life threatening.

If anyone has information about this incident, they are asked to call 911 or the Everett Police Department TIP LINE at (425) 257-8450.
