Join us on Monday, Aug. 21, 2023 at 2:30 p.m. for a ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating the brand new, inclusive playground at Thornton A. Sullivan Park located at 11405 Silver Lake Rd in Everett, Wash. Special guests will include City of Everett Mayor Cassie Franklin and Council member Ben Zarlingo.
The new playground officially opened to the public in late June, just in time for the 4th of July, and was an immediate hit with local families. The play structures were designed with inclusivity in mind to ensure children of all ages and of different abilities are able to play together.
