EVERETT, Wash. – The City of Everett’s Lodging Tax Advisory Committee (LTAC) is accepting applications for projects that assist with tourism development and promotion in the city of Everett. Public and non-profit agencies are encouraged to submit applications by Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2023, at 5 p.m.
In 2023, there will be funding available for public and non-profit agencies in the amount of $545,000. Funds will be awarded on a competitive basis to eligible applicants with the demonstrated ability to complete their proposed projects by Dec. 31, 2023.
“We look forward to reviewing applications for creative ideas that will encourage more tourism within our city and create more opportunities for residents and visitors to enjoy what Everett has to offer,” said Council President and LTAC Chair Brenda Stonecipher. “I’m proud that our city offers this grant opportunity, which helps bring more events and festivals here and further promotes Everett as a great place to visit or live.”

Completed applications are due by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2023, via email to starver@everettwa.gov. Applications received after 5 p.m. on Jan. 31 will not be considered for funding.
The grant program is made possible through taxes imposed on hotel and motel room rentals in the city of Everett. Eligibility details and other program requirements are included in the application package at everettwa.gov/ltac.
