The City of Everett expects to receive funding for the 2023 Program Year to benefit low and moderate income households. The estimated amounts by funding source are: Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) - $850,000; HOME Program - $400,000; AHTF/2060 Funds - $140,000. The City also has unallocated funds from prior program years of approximately $480,000 of CDBG Non-Public Service funds and $11,510 of AHTF/2060 funds to be re-allocated in the 2023 Program Year.
A public hearing and meeting of the City of Everett’s Citizens Advisory Committee was held on November 15, 2022. The Committee recommended that the City Council approve the programs at this link to receive funding: 2023 Federal and State Funding Recommendations.
All interested persons are encouraged to review and comment on the funding recommendations. All public comments must be submitted in writing to Vicki Dorway at firstname.lastname@example.org no later than 5 p.m. on Tuesday, December 20, 2022.
