A memorandum prioritizing which of the City’s receiving waters and drainage basins are most likely to benefit from stormwater management planning and actions is now available. Based on several considerations, the City of Everett has chosen North Creek as the top priority basin.
The receiving water prioritization is the second phase of a three-step Stormwater Management Action Plan (SMAP) development process. The first phase, the Receiving Water Assessment, identified the City’s top four priority basins. The City will now begin the third phase of the SMAP process, identifying and documenting stormwater management activities that may improve the condition of the North Creek drainage basin.
