Public Comment Period Open for 2022 Priority Needs for Supplemental Funding Round

Public Notice:

A 30-day public comment period is now open for Priority Needs for the 2022 Supplemental funding round for Non-Public Services. 

The Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC) held a public hearing on June 9th to determine Priority Needs for the 2022 Supplemental funding round for Non-Public Services. The supplemental funds are uncommitted Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds from the 2018, 2019, and 2020 program years. Per HUD guidelines, unused funds must be re-allocated to ensure timely expenditure of funds. The list of recommended priority needs is below.

2022 Supplemental funding Priority Needs

  • Public Facility Improvements
  • Housing
    • Rehabilitation of Rental Housing Units
    • Emergency Shelter/Transitional Housing Beds
  • Economic Development
    • Façade Improvements

Public comments will be accepted until 5 p.m. on Monday, July 14, 2022. All comments must be submitted in writing to Vicki Dorway at [email protected]
