[ARCHIVED] 03/27/22 Officer Rocha moved to a private funeral home, official memorial fund now available

EVERETT, WA – Today Officer Rocha was transported privately in a movement with honors by the Everett Police Honor Guard. He was moved to a private funeral home for the family and there will not be a public viewing at this time.

The official memorial fund to support Officer Rocha’s family and memorial costs is now available. Please visit for news, memorial fund information, and once available memorial information.

The City is working to ensure we can respect the family’s wishes to remember and honor the life of Officer Dan Rocha. The City is proud to cover the cost of the memorial service. The support of the private sector and community is still needed to ensure Officer Rocha’s family is taken care of. Donations will directly support Officer Rocha’s family and honor the ultimate sacrifice he gave for our community.

We will have more information to share in the coming days for the memorial event.
