[ARCHIVED] Two Victims Shot During Home Invasion

 Everett, WA – Everett Police Major Crimes detectives are investigating an overnight home invasion that left two victims with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. 

 Just after 9 PM on the evening of  November 10th, police received several shots fired calls in the area of Columbia Ave and Washington Ave. When they arrived they located a woman who told police her boyfriend had been shot at a home in the 2000 block of Columbia Ave. Several adult males, at least one with a firearm, entered the residence. An altercation ensued with gunshots being fired.  Two individuals were struck, which resulted in non-life threatening injuries. 

 After the suspects had fled, 911 was called and officers responded to the scene where they provided medical assistance to the injured males until Everett Fire Department medics arrived. Both victims were transported to the hospital for treatment. A K9 track was attempted, but was unsuccessful.

 Everett Police Department Major Crimes detectives responded to the scene and are working the case. Detectives believe this is an isolated incident.
