[ARCHIVED] Public notice of reallocation of CDBG-CV grant funds

The City of Everett is seeking public review and comment on proposed award reallocations for Community Development Block Grant Covid Relief (CDBG-CV) funds.


The City of Everett was awarded additional CDBG-CV Covid Relief funds of approximately $734,857.00. Eligible projects were considered from applications received during the previous application rounds and awarded to organizations that had the ability to spend grant funds within the 2021 program year.

A public hearing and meeting of the City of Everett’s Citizens Advisory Committee was held on September 21, 2021. The Committee recommended that the City Council approve the following projects to receive the available funding:

Snohomish County Legal Services

Volunteers of America

Rental Assistance & Staffing

The Everett City Council will be briefed on the recommended funding amounts at their meeting on October 6, 2021. Council action is scheduled for October 13, 2021 and would approve the funding reallocations and the 2022 Community Priority Needs in the form of a resolution.
