[ARCHIVED] Access to upper Howarth Park via Seahurst closed for Watermain V Replacement Project

City of Everett parks alert

Watermain V Replacement Project construction along Olympic Boulevard from Seahurst Avenue and along Ridgemont Drive (see map) has began and access to upper Howarth Park will be closed during work hours for the next two weeks (weather dependent) while the contractor installs new watermain pipe.

Normal work hours will be 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Access to upper Howarth Park will reopen outside of work hours. Lower Howarth Park via Olympic Boulevard will remain open during construction.

The purpose of this project is to replace aging cast iron watermains that are prone to breaks. This work will reduce the risk of watermain breaks, improve the resiliency of the water distribution system in your area, and improve your water quality.
