The Everett Planning Commission held a meeting on Aug 17, 2021 to discuss the following agenda:
Item 1: Comprehensive Plan designation amendment and rezone for 7500 Hardeson Rd.
As part of the annual docket, proposed map amendments for a 1.32 acre site at Hardeson Road to change the comprehensive plan land use map designation from Industrial to Commercial Mixed Use, and the zoning designation from Light Industrial 2 to Business.
Item 2: Comprehensive Plan designation amendment
As part of the annual docket, proposed map amendment to remove Local Resource Lands designation from areas waterward of the ordinary high‐water mark.
Item 3: Maximum Building Heights Map amendment
As part of the annual docket, amend 19.22.150 EMC Map 22‐1: Maximum Building Heights Map to include upland portion of recently approved annexation of western Smith Island. The proposed maximum height designation is 7 stories.
Item 4: Housing Committee Recommended Housing Action Plan – Support Resolution
An introduction and proposed Planning Commission support resolution of the Housing Committee Recommended Housing Action Plan containing a set of short‐ and long‐term recommended key strategies intended to address the housing needs of the community.
