[ARCHIVED] Male injured in house fire last night

EVERETT, WA – Shortly before 9:30 p.m. last night, a neighbor called 9-1-1 to report a house fire in the 6100 block of Commercial Avenue. Firefighters arrived to find a fully involved house fire.

A man, who is a resident of the home, received minor burns to his hands and was transported to an area hospital. There is no further information on his condition at the time of this news release. No firefighters were injured. 

There are two residents who live in the home, no assistance was requested to help them relocate. A dog was located and safely reunited with its owner.  

Initial information indicates the fire may have been started by a candle, however, the fire is still under investigation.
