A 1936, 12-inch steel water main broke just north of the intersection of 25th Street and West Marine View Drive Thursday evening, requiring crews to close the road in both directions while they investigate the extent of the damage to the road and the main. Though there was road damage, no other property damage was reported, and no services were out of water as a result of the break.
