PLEASE NOTE, THIS IS NOT A CITY OF EVERETT GRANT OPPORTUNITY.
Nonprofit Grants Available - $2 million
Through a partnership with Snohomish County and Community Foundation, a new nonprofit stabilization and capacity-building grant application opens on September 4th
The grant program is part of the county’s plan to use federal CARES Act resources to support local non-profit organizations impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic as they work to support community members in need.
Data for Snohomish County provides insight about our hardest hit community members. The focus of the program is on nonprofits that serve diverse and/or marginalized populations and have an annual operating budget of $500,000 or less. The process will be sensitive to geographic diversity as well. In the past CFSC has worked to understand how to advance equity through our Rick Steve’s Europe Fund - Racial Equity grant, Reimagining Your Fundraising: Navigating the Challenges of the Coronavirus workshop, and additional charitable efforts. In aiming to meet the present and long-term needs of the communities of color, we are prioritizing the BIPOC nonprofit stabilization and capacity-building grant program. Please go to our Website to read more about the criteria and process. The grant questions are there as well.
