This coming week, the City's Planning Commission and City Council will receive briefings on Rethink Zoning. The Planning Commission's meeting is Tuesday, June 2nd at 6:30 p.m. and City Council is Wednesday, June 3rd at 6:30 p.m.

As a precaution against spreading COVID‐19, the City conducts Planning Commission meetings remotely. Due to the Governor’s “Stay Home, Stay Healthy” Order, we are not able to provide a place for community to gather to view or attend the Planning Commission meeting. We encourage you to provide written comments prior to the meeting at planning@everettwa.gov.

You may attend the meeting by calling (425‐616‐3920) and enter the ID# (421 922 453#) of the meeting. To join the MS Teams meeting through the App, open the Planning Commission’s Agenda for June 2, 2020 (click here for agenda) and click on the MS Teams meeting link in the agenda. An opportunity for public input will be provided at the meeting, either by telephone call into the meeting or through the Microsoft Teams App. Sending comments by email to planning@everettwa.gov is strongly encouraged at this time.
On June 3rd, the City Council will receive an update on Rethink Zoning.

All changes to the City’s development codes to be considered are scheduled to be presented to the Planning Commission July 21st, with a public hearing scheduled for August 18th. The City Council would consider the recommendations of the Planning Commission and conduct their own public hearings in September - October 2020.
