[ARCHIVED] Valuable Phase 2 reopening guidance for businesses

COVID-19 update from City of Everett

As we approach Phase 2 Reopening for certain businesses, local business owners have been asking City of Everett for assistance in determining the Phase 2 reduced maximum occupancy load for Phase 2 businesses as expressed in the guidelines released by the Governor’s Office . In response, Everett’s Building Official and Fire Marshal have put together a Phase 2 Reopening: Guide to Determining Maximum Occupant Loads for use by local businesses. This document provides valuable information related to the maximum occupancy allowed for different types of businesses during Phase 2 and explains how to calculate occupancy load for each type of business included in the Phase 2 reopening plan. It does not grant authority for reopening, as that is governed solely by the Governor’s Orders.
