[ARCHIVED] How you can help during COVID-19

Support homeless animals during COVID-19

Wondering how you can help homeless animals during the COVID-19 crisis? Here are a few things you can do:

DONATE: With so much uncertainty, donations are more important than ever. We rely on community support to cover our medical expenses. While we are a government entity, we depend on extra funding to cover the critical medical care we provide and animals are still coming to us in need. We are also preparing for a higher level of intakes but adoptions have dramatically reduced meaning animals will be with us longer than usual. Help homeless pets with a donation here: https://everettwa.gov/170/Donate

SEND SUPPLIES: While we can’t allow public donation drop offs, we can always use donations of food and supplies. Please visit our Amazon Wish List to see what we need most.

FOSTER: We rely on foster homes to expand the walls of our shelter all year long and now more than ever, we need generous and caring homes for our animals. Some are ready for adoption and just waiting for their new families to find them, some are recovering from surgery and some just need a break from the shelter. If you’re interested in fostering now or in the future, please read our foster page

SHARE: Our reach only extends so far and during this time of emergency, you can help by connecting those animal lovers in your life with our organization. We often highlight the animals that have been in our care for awhile and sharing them with your network can help them find their new homes even faster! Watch our Facebook page for featured animals, happy tails and so much more.

Thank you for any support you can provide, we are thankful for our animal-loving community!
