Until further notice, City of Everett will no longer perform inspections within occupied dwelling units. Elective projects that can be delayed should be postponed at this time, including voluntary electrical panel changes. This move to implement public health guidance for social distancing follows the announcement last week to close Everett’s Permit Services public counter until further notice, due to public health concerns related to the COVID-19 virus.
Permit Services will continue to provide many services remotely, via email and postal mail. During this time, community members are encouraged to utilize Permit Services’ online resources. High email volumes are expected; inquiries will be responded to in the order received.
