Now getting exercise and staying active is even more affordable for senior center members! The Carl Gipson Senior Center is excited to introduce a new fitness punch card program for several of their fitness classes.
Members can purchase a punch card, $20 for 10 classes or $10 for five classes, and attend classes whenever their schedules allow. Drop-in rate is $3 per class for members and $6 for non-members.
The senior center is also offering a special punch card price to new and existing members in March, 2020. For the month of March only, anyone who signs up for a new membership or renews their membership for 2020-2021 may purchase one fitness punch card for half price.
Fitness classes eligible for the punch card program include:
Senior Center Yoga, a yoga class carefully combines senior-friendly balancing, stretching and strengthening poses with breathing and meditation. Instructed by Alla Allen on Mondays and Wednesdays, 10-11 a.m.
Forever Fit, a new class that allows participants to move at their own speed to build strength and flexibility with various sit and stand exercises. Instructed by Sabrina Shaulis on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 9-9:45 a.m.
Stretch and Tone, featuring stretching and strengthening exercises from the safety of a seated position. Instructed by Eric Wollan on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 10-10:45 a.m.
