Unseasonably favorable weather and close coordination with the railroad during the end of 2019 allowed the crews to pour the pedestrian decks for the bridge. Work is transitioning to guardrail installation, electrical, lighting and completion of the elevator. The contractor continues to coordinate with the railroad for removal of the wood false deck that was used by the crews to install forms and pour the decks. The current traffic control on West Marine View Drive will remain for a several more months as frames and panels are lifted and installed along the bridge. The current estimate for completion of the bridge is early summer.

The first run of installed guardrail panels are seen at the park entrance to the bridge after a snowfall. The panels increase in height over the railroad.
