Everett Police have seen an increase in mail theft and mailbox vandalism incidents in the Harborview-Seahurst-Glenhaven neighborhood.
Residents in this neighborhood should use the following crime prevention techniques:
- Utilize a locking mailbox
- Retrieve your mail daily
- If you leave town for a few days, request the Post Office to hold your mail
- Call 911 to report suspicious people who linger near, or tampering with, mailboxes
If your mailbox has been damage or your mail stolen, report the incident online or call the Everett Police non-emergency number at 425-407-3999.
