A 1950, 6-inch water main broke on the 5300 block of Evergreen Way, requiring crews to shut off service to 4 homes during the repair. No damage was reported. The line is expected to be repaired and restored by early tomorrow morning. The waterline is under the sidewalk, and one lane is blocked on the edge of the road.
Once water is restored, people are encouraged to run their water until clear and air is released from the line.
