[ARCHIVED] Construction alert: alley work between Broadway & Lombard avenues, from 35th Street to 36th Street

CONSTRUCTION NOTICE, Sewer Main Replacement Project

Construction will begin the week of July 15 on a sewer main replacement in the alley between Broadway and Lombard avenues, from 35th Street to 36th Street. City crews will perform the work. Normal work hours will be
7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The purpose of this project is to replace a clay sewer main installed in the early 1900s. Replacement of the main will improve system reliability and reduce maintenance costs.

During work hours, alley access will be limited and no alley parking allowed. We apologize for any inconvenience. The project should take approximately four weeks to complete.
