EVERETT, WA – The Everett Fire Department is excited to offer a free fire extinguisher training class to the public on Thursday, June 20, 2019, from 1 p.m.-3 p.m. The course is one hour long with staggered start times, two of which offer an ASL interpreter. Pre-registration is required and seats are limited, with priority given to those who need an ASL interpreter at the indicated class times.
This free course will be taught by Everett firefighters. The course consists of 30 minutes of lecture and 30 minutes of hands-on, live fire training. There will be three groups of 16 with staggered start times at half hour intervals. On the interest sheet, please select which time is best for you. We will do our best to accommodate your request; however, based on registrations and the number of requests, we may need to place you in a different class start time.
All training is outside at the Everett Fire Department drill field, 6201 Berkshire Dr, Everett WA 98203. We encourage students to dress for the weather, to include proper shoes that are closed-toe. The Everett Fire Department will supply all training materials and tools.
