Children ages 4-14 are invited to discover the basics and fun of fishing at the annual Kids Fish-In on Silver Lake, Saturday, May 11, from 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
This free, fun event teaches children basic fishing skills with volunteer guides from Everett Steelhead and Salmon Club. Participants can register for a one-hour lesson during one of six sessions offered throughout the day. Children should bring their own rods, reels and tackle boxes, if they have them. There will be a limited supply of equipment to borrow.
Everett Parks & Community Services and Everett Steelhead and Salmon Club co-host the popular annual event at Thornton A. Sullivan Park, 11405 W. Silver Lake Rd., Everett.
