[ARCHIVED] Everett Parks plans for winter storm event and Daddy Daughter Dance this weekend

The National Weather Service is forecasting snow for this coming weekend. Everett Parks & Community Services is looking forward to this wonderful event but is planning and preparing for a potential snow event that may require the event be rescheduled. Safety of participants and staff is a top priority.


Everett Parks and Community Services will determine whether or not to cancel and reschedule the dances due to weather after 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 8. If the dances are to be cancelled, participants will be notified via email. Notifications will also be posted to the Everett Parks and Community Services Facebook page, as well as to www.everettwa.gov/Parks. If the dances are cancelled, City staff will make every effort to reschedule the event soon and any participants who cannot attend the rescheduled event will receive a full refund.
