Funding is available for tourism-focused events and programs

EVERETT, WA – Public and nonprofit agencies are encouraged to apply for a second round of funding for projects that support tourism development and promotion in the city of Everett. Applications will be accepted in the Clerk’s Office located at 2930 Wetmore Avenue in Everett and are due by 5 p.m. Thursday, March 7, 2019.


The program is funded through the taxes imposed on hotel and motel room rentals in the city of Everett. Funds are awarded on a competitive basis to eligible applicants with the demonstrated ability to complete their proposed projects by Dec. 31 each year.


Details of eligibility and other program requirements are included in the application package that can be found at www.everettwa.gov/ltac.
