On Thursday, Jan. 24, Everett water crews will need to take 72 connections out of service in an area straddling Narbeck Road from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. so the contractor can tie the new pipeline into the existing system. Crews will hang notices on the doors of each home that will be taken out of water warning them of the shutdown.
This work will also result in variable pressure for a larger area west of Narbeck Road. The variable pressure should be moderate, but customers may experience slight discoloration of their water due to the presence of the minerals iron and manganese that will be stirred up when water pressure fluctuates. The water is safe to drink.
