Washington State Department of Ecology -- Everett Smelter Site Cleanup Update
Significant project activity that began today will continue tomorrow at the East Marine View Drive and Broadway interchange as Ecology’s contractor gets the work zone set up. Tomorrow's work is expected to have a high impact on traffic going through the area.
What to expect tomorrow:
- Everett Police performing traffic control on East Marine View Drive
- Watch for detour route signs
- Temporary pavement striping and construction of a barrier
- Temporary signals will be active
- Closed northbound ramp
This is a Washington State Department of Ecology project. Everett Public Works traffic division staff are on site with the contractor and will stay on site as long as the contractor is getting set up.
